CE Credit Hours for Completion: 1

This session covers clinical assessment and development of an effective treatment plan for the individual calf when diagnostic capabilities are limited by geography or economics. Fluid resuscitation of the moderately to severely affected calf is the focus, with some discussion of oral fluid therapy as follow up to resuscitation or as therapy for the mildly affected calf. Clinically-important physiology is reviewed to help make sense of the components needed for the right fluid plan.
