Using bloodwork from an actual case, we highlight common abnormalities present in ill small ruminants and how to specifically address each with your fluid composition. Both parenteral and oral fluid and electrolyte replacement is addressed. Replacement of potassium, phosphorus, bicarbonate, calcium, and correction of acid-base status are all covered. User-friendly partial parenteral nutrition is also presented.
