The CSF tap is a super useful procedure that can give you a hand up on diagnosing meningeal worm, meningitis, listeria and other CNS diseases. It sounds intimidating, but it doesn’t need to be. I give you step by step videos of the procedure, talk about interpretation of the results, and how to handle the sample for sending to the lab. This is a great procedure to add to your diagnostic service menu.
