Older calves and adult cattle often require large volumes of fluids to adequately replace losses, which you can accomplish in the field with a little creativity! I’ll review all the ways to administer fluids, give you some base fluid recipes as well as how to replace specific minerals and electrolytes. You’ll finish this module ready to adequately tackle dehydrated and electrolye/mineral deficient cattle in practical ways.
