This session covers examination for suspected respiratory disease and how not to get tricked into thinking that all animals that are breathing hard and have a fever have pneumonia! Ancillary diagnostics including trans tracheal wash, radiography, ultrasound, and thoracocentesis are demonstrated, which can be applied to all species. Judicious use of antimicrobials and a brief discussion on the use of vaccines are included.
