From chronic bloat to foreign bodies to hardware abscesses, there are many indications to open up a rumen and have a look inside. In this module, I’ll cover the indications for rumen surgery, local anesthesia, rumenostomy, rumenotomy and how they can provide resolution to a variety of conditions, including peritonitis due to hardware.
