In this module, I’ll cover the indications for rumen surgery, local anesthesia, rumenostomy, rumenotomy and how they can provide resolution to a variety of conditions, including peritonitis due to hardware. I’ll also discuss the installation of a rumen cannula to create a rumen fluid donor. Yes, you should have a rumen donor! Ok, you’ll think about it.
